There was great excitement in St. Brigid's this week leading up to the Easter break. Lots of classes did fabulous arts and crafts which were displayed around the school. The girls in Junior Infants - 2nd Class had lots of fun taking part in an egg hunt.

There was great excitement in the school for Seactain na Gaeilge.  Classes were busy creating St. Patrick's Day Art, learning Irish Dances and using some Nathanna na Cainte.  On Tuesday the girls dressed up in their green clothes and there was a socially distanced Céilí outdoors for the junior classes where the children performed their dances and songs for others.  There was lots of Irish Music to be heard throughout the school and the girls had lots of fun celebrating St. Patrick's Day.

The girls in Ms.Delany's 5th Class have been busy working on their knitting and have now completed some beautiful chicks just in time for Easter!!

Both 2nd classes had great fun making houses out of spaghetti and jelly babies during engineering week. They worked together in teams and had to collaborate in order to complete the challenge. The girls had lots of fun!!
